How is the amount of urine produced regulated?

The amount of urine that is regulated depends upon the amount of water and other substances that are present. The urine is composed mainly of water so water is the main component in its regulation. If the amount of water is more in the body then the water reabsorbed will be less and more water will be released from the body and vice versa. Various other factors are responsible for the regulation of urine hormones such as Antidiuretic hormone (ADH) and also the habitat of an organism that regulates the amount of urine produced.
